the forest Upon stepping into the forest one could feel the eyes of multiple demons upon them, the sounds of wild beast echoing out in the distance and the smell of the decaying bodies. A simple barrier to ward off unwanted bystanders that might get too curious. Further within the lands of the demonic forest lays and opening at the center of the two hundred acre forest. Off to the West side of the forest stood a dark, haunted, and tormenting manor owned by a occupant of these lands. Corastat Manor as it is called. Built and owned by the wondering lost soul named Nanalie Corastat. A woman who took up refuge here upon the request of the creator of the forest, Abriella De La Crusianté, also known as Shi Kurayami. Shi herself will come to stay at the manor from time to time, but prefers the comfort of the outdoors. Off to the North of the land stand the cliffs that drop to the ever to beautiful sea. To the South lay ruins of old villages destroyed and never rebuilt. The occupants of the infested forest tended to go ff to the villages to satisfy their hunger. No one ever bothered to rebuild the villages once they were destroyed, the survivors simply picked up their things and left, one after the other. With food supplies running low for the demons they tend to turn on each other. A typical survival instinct. To the East was the usual entrance into such a horrid place that many entered through. At the South West of the lands, just a little more in from the cliff a lake filling in the land and even inhabits beast lurking beneath it's glassy surface. Some lay dormant, other remain awake. The shores of the lake remain clean, as of everything in the forest. Not even the corpses of the dead lay about on the ground of the forest. Somewhere close to the village ruins, off towards the East, rest a lard Redwood tree covered completely in corse of both human and demon alike. A small project of the creator's, well, more of a 'toy' for her to display. The stench of the rotting corpses reaches out a mile or two away from it, the smell unfailing, and unfaltering, ever. Te trees of the forest are more of the living than a normal tree. They not only convert carbon-dioxide into oxygen, but they move about, sometimes from place to place to confuse people and force them to get lost. A little trick they love to play with the inhabitants of the forest. They love the sound of a singing voice, especially that of a woman's, but it is one particular song that bring life to not only the forest, but the inhabitants as well. It is simply known as the song of healing and very few know of it. With the forest having been destroyed upon multiple occasions it is this song alone that brings back the life.
