While the qbone xat may be a fun place to communicate with fellow friends and members, there are still rules to be followed:

1. Minimal Swearing. While Xat censors many swears, if not all, abusing the swears is not allowed. Do not keep swearing, this is very distracting and not allowed on the Qbone Xat.

2. No inappropriate images or topics of any kind. I'm sure you all know what this means, simply put don't do it. Again, some people may be offended by what you post. This includes images on sigs and avatars.

3. No Spamming. Spam is very annoying and distracts the users of the Qbone Xat. Spamming comes in various forums, including:
~Smiley Spam
~Sound Spam
~Link Spam
~Spamming Random Letters

5. No personal information. Personal information should never be shared with anyone online. This information can be used against you negatively in many ways, so please protect your privacy by not giving away your personal information even if someone tells you it's safe to do so.

6. No flaming. This is just unnecessary, simply don't do it. Be nice to everyone on qbone. If you don't like a specific person, please keep it to yourself and don't show your emotions on this site. You can always ignore the person on the xat.

7. No advertising forums or chats. Anything but those is allowed. I.e. Youtube, photobucket, etc. As long as it's appropriate.

8. Respect mods and admins. They are just doing their jobs. If you don't agree with something they have done, pm me.

VIOLATION OF RULES:

A warning will be given in the form of a kick for all rules except: Advertisments and inappropriate content.
Following a warning is a ban that can last anywhere from a half an hour to forever.

** Some consequences may not be severe if the rule broken is not a big one. Likewise, other consequences may be more severe than the ones listed. Ex: Banned after first rule broken(if severe) ***You can be banned for doing something that's not on the rules.
